About us
Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib Papakura
A Gurdwara is best understood as a hub for the Sikh community and a sacred space for our spiritual and social practices. The key focus of a Gurdwara is the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Sikh’s holy scripture. Sikhs gather at the Gurdwara for daily prayers, celebrations of Sikh festivals and key milestones including initiation ceremony, marriages, and final rites. A Gurdwara also offers langar, opportunities for learning, and conducting seva.
